I was actually a late bloomer to the audio drama genre. The first one I really remember grabbing onto was a podcast called The Black Tapes.

I absolutely loved listening to Peter and the Wolf as a kid... That oboe duck will forever live on in my memory.

I was given a set of recorded fairy tales. They were full cast dramatizations...I was mesmerized by them.

As a Minnesotan, I was lucky enough to be exposed to the genius of Garrison Keillor and Lake Wobegon.

Grandpa popped in an episode of X-Minus One. About five seconds later, I was hooked.

As a child I recall huddling in front of my parents’ large Philco radio listening to The Shadow, The Lone Ranger, and The Green Hornet.

I came across a guy selling cassette tapes at a flea market and bought a tape with episodes of The Shadow on it which I loved and still own.
